Local Interest

The 2024 Red Willow County Fair will be held July 24-28. Events outside of fair week but are still part of fair include Horse Show Friday, July 12th beginning at 8am. Clothing Day is Friday, July 19th from 9am-12pm. The Red Willow County Dog Show will be on Saturday, July 20th starting at 9am. Tuesday July 23rd is 4-H Day the day to turn in static exhibits at the 4-H Building.

Nav Ghimire has been appointed as the associate dean, Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) focus of Nebraska Extension at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, pending approval by the NU Board of Regents. He will start in June 2024.
